The women who went to the field

Printed in three columns divided by single rules, double line headband at head of text. At head of title: Historic poem, a fine tribute to the women of the war, by one of them. The following historic poem was given by Clara Barton ... at the farewell reception of Potomac Relief Corps, at Willard's Hotel, Washington .. At end of text: The insignia and arm-band of the Red Cross worn on the field. Publication date suggested because poem published in K.M. Scott, In honor of the National Association of Civil War Army Nurses, Atlantic City, 1910, with note dating the farewell reception Nov. 18, 1892.
