This representation of a Loyal Hackney Volunteer in the act of firing is selected by him who had the honor of Commanding the Corps, as a due acknowledgement of the excellence it has acquired in this part of Military Exercise, and is intended as a sincere but inadequate mark of that regard for the Corps which will ever be entertained, by James Williams, Clapton 1802.
