Brown University Theatre presents The Brown Dance Ensemble in Concert

Concert features the Dance Extension premiere of David Parsons' "The Envelope." Choreographers Edisa Weeks and Cristina C. Fortenbaugh went on the have professional careers as performers and choreographers. A hightlight of the program was Julie Adams Strandberg's "Wandering Stars" with costumes and set designed by Jane Case, the composer, who played live. Julie Adams Strandberg's directors note recognized the important relationship between modern dance and the academy. Program includes six pages of ads from local merchants. The student choreographers for this show were: Emily Borman, A.R, Trotter, Julie Ikai, Cristina C. Fortenbaugh, Edisa Weeks, Jodi Falk, Paula Franklin.
