Trepanning a recruit
One of a suite of 4 color mezzotints by G. Keating after Morland of narrative scenes; officer standing outside house, his hat placed upon the head of a local man seated wearing a smock and holding a tankard on his lap. On his right sits a drummer who drums on the hat with one stick. A woman (his wife?) with little child appears to be pleaeding with the officer. Sign on house reads: "Cumberland House, D.
