At head of text: Portraying the feelings of an Irish peasant previous to his leaving home, calling up the scenes of his youth, under the painful reflection of having buried his wife and child, and what his feelings will be in America. Publication date suggested because printed on sheet with a poem written in 1846. Printed on single sheet with A parody on The lament of the Irish emigrant, each in separate border; possibly intended to be separated.
