Original unsigned ink and watercolor drawing, heightened in gilt; the coat of arms including a five bar peninsular gold cross, Knight Commanders badge of the Royal Hanoverian Guelphic Order, Portuguese Order of the Tower and Sword, and Knight Grand Commanders badge of the Order of the Bath, all of which were held by Gen. D'Urban. The supporters are formed by a Lt. dragoon private and a private of the 51st Light Inf., c. 1840, of which regiment Gen. D'urban was colonel from 1829. General D'Urban was created G.C.B. in 1840.
