Royal doctors bringing Boney to pott

A crowd of Royal Doctors that includes the General, "Dr. Blücher," discuss the best "cure" for Napoleon, and therefore for Europe. Napoleon sits on a large chamberpot. His trousers are gathered around his thighs and his backside is exposed. John Bull raps Napoleon on the head and announces "I think all these here Docter will be too much so Have brought you a Little Coffin." Clearly, the various cures the doctors mete out are intended to be part of Napleon's punishment for his uncontrolled ambitions and his lust for warfare. In addition to powerful purgatives, one doctor carries a cylster for delivering enemas. Print has darkened with age and has some white patches at the edges outside of the plate impression. Some small tears mended on the verso with tape. A crowd of Royal Doctors that includes the General, "Dr. Blücher," discuss the best "cure" for Napoleon, and therefore for Europe.
