Broadsheet printed in two columns on recto and two columns divided by single line within single-line border on verso. On recto printed vertically between rules in left margin, "99th issue (since 1973) 5 November 1977"; "Transverse" printed vertically between columns and "Poetry" printed vertically in right margin. Poem in four stanzas at head of second column on recto entitled: The long perspective. At lower left on recto "cEso." On verso explanation of history and purpose of Transverse poetry, a series of free broadsides published and distributed in Boston by the author and his wife, typesigned "Eso." Suggested place of publication from zip code of address in upper left corner on recto, "P.O. Box 526, 02158.
