Bowditch, translator of the Mécanique céleste, etc., modelled by Ball Hughes, Esquire (and cast by Messrs. Hooper & Co.), was, on its way to Mount Auburn, placed for a while, at the hour of high 'Change, in State Street, Boston, where the living subject was, when amongst us, so well known.
