A dissertation on the Rev. Jonas Clarke's seat at Lexington
Poetry and prose. At head of title on page [1]: The enclosed poem is supposed to have been written by John Mascarene, a Spanish student, living in the family of Dr. Henry Ware, at Cambridge, and presented to his daughter, Lucy Clarke Ware, whose daughter presented it to Lexington Historical Society, 1898. The poem was probably written sometime between 1800 and 1805, the date of Mr. Clarke's death.
