At head of text: Miss Sally Oaks died May 20th, 1818, aged nineteen years wanting four days. Poetry in 14 four-line stanzas printed in two columns with printed signature and date at end: Samuel Dunn. Newsalem, May 25, 1818. Samuel Dunn, active between 1800 and 1838, had most of his poems printed in nearby Greenwich, Mass., after 1816 in Enfield, Mass., by Howe.
