At head of text wood-engraving of woman in bed captioned: "When Mary laid her down to sleep, her thoughts on Sandy far at sea." In lower margin: Sold, wholesale and retail, by J. G. Hunt, at the Head of City Wharf, South Side. Hunt is listed at this address in 1836. First poem attributed to J. Lowe and second to M.G. Lewis in T.L.
