All stanzas end with "Fight away, fight away, fight away for Dixie's land. At end of text: Martinsburg, Va., Dec. 10, 1861; type-signed "B." Brown University Broadsides Collection copy with ms. notation "[Dr. N.G. Ridgely];" typeface and design of broadside same as others published by Ridgely in Baltimore.
