Voices of the Small Points
"Voices of the Small Points" is a documentary film by students at Alvarez High School in 2016. The video includes interviews with indigenous Narragansett tribal members Loren Spears (Narragansett & Niantic), Sherente Harris (Narragansett & Niantic), Tall Oak Weeden (Wampanoag, Pequot & Narragansett), and Dawn Dove (Narragansett & Niantic). Topics include the indigenous history of Rhode Island, and specifically the Mashapaug Pond area as well as contemporary life and Narragansett culture.
