Images of completed Mashapaug Pond Timeline mural created by Alvarez High School students with Deb DeMarco in 2013. The mural was designed and photographed by Sarah Cappelli who was also involved in working with DeMarco as part of her Visual Arts classes at Alvarez High School. Mural Frame by Michael Cappelli. The mural was created with individual glazed tiles and depicts the pond from the 1700s-2000s within the context of the development of the area from its natural environment and indigenous history, colonial development, industrial and urban development to current efforts to restore the ecosystem.
