A picture of President Howard Edwards with his grandson, Howard Edwards Spring (5 years old at the time). Photograph appeared in the Providence Sunday Journal on September 18, 1927 with the following caption: "Dr. Howard Edwards and the 5 yr old grandson, Howard Edwards Spring, who provided his happiness in his last years. The grandson is very brilliant, having been able to read at 2 yrs. Taken in his yard. His most beloved picture."
