Apologizes for his simple writings, of which he sends 10 small volumes; praises writings of Dr. Gill; also sends works of Bunyan; mentions Abraham Booth; requests form for describing the college in a will; some of his hymns have been stolen; misses his agreeable correspondence with Rev. Backus; sorry to hear of low state of religion in America; reports growth of antitrinitarianism and popular ignorance of authority of Christ; has lost his wife and five children.
